Offering a range of bespoke pieces featuring intricate decoration in gold, silver and copper leaf using the traditional technique of verre églomisé to create intensely luxurious finishes, Filigrana Design was founded by Estitxu Garcia.

Over the last 20 years Estitxu Garcia has developed her own unique gilded glass finishes through a fusion of contemporary design, traditional techniques and special chemical effects. visually delicate pieces are created that can be displayed alone as a work of art, or form part of a piece of furniture.

Estitxu Garcia has been extensively commissioned to create many original verre églomisé pieces for a wide variety of clients, including hotels, cruise ships, show houses, shops, restaurants, bars and private homes. Her work has included mirrors, doors, wardrobes, screens, tables and bed heads and many other types of furniture.
